Frequently asked questions
How much do parish halls cost in Switzerland?
Published prices for the parish halls listed here: per group or flat rate usually CHF 100 to 200 (median CHF 120). Always check what is included (snack, cake, host) and for how many children.
How do I book?
Contact the parish office (link on each listing). Ask about capacity, kitchen equipment, closing time and deposit. Best booked 1 to 2 months ahead.
Can we bring our own cake?
It depends on the venue: many packages include the snack and cake, others accept your own. Mention it in your request, along with any allergies.
How far ahead should I book?
For a Saturday or a Wednesday afternoon, allow 3 to 6 weeks, more in December and before school holidays. Sending the request to 2 or 3 providers improves your chance of a free date.
