Why is my business on KidsConfetti?
KidsConfetti is a free directory that helps parents in Switzerland find providers for their child's birthday. To make the directory useful, we created some listings from business information you published yourself, usually on your website (name, category, town, website, business contact details, published offer and prices). The source and verification date are shown on the listing, labelled "Public information, not yet checked by the provider".
Does it cost me anything? Am I committed?
No. The listing is free and without obligation. No subscription ever starts automatically. Paid options (Premium) are only activated if you choose them yourself.
Why did I receive an email?
A parent chose your listing and sent you a real request, after confirming their email address. We forward it to the address published on your website. You reply to the parent directly; KidsConfetti takes no commission and is not involved in your contract.
Why did I receive an information email from KidsConfetti?
We sent it to you once, because your business is presented on KidsConfetti with public information taken from your own website. It tells you which data we hold (name, category, town, website, business contact details, published offer and prices), where it comes from and why we use it. You can claim your listing for free to correct it, or remove it with the link in the email: it is hidden immediately and its data is deleted within 5 working days, except the name and your website address, which we keep only so that the listing is not re-created. Apart from requests that parents send you, you will not receive any other email from us without your consent.
The information is wrong or out of date. What can I do?
Claim your listing for free and correct it yourself, or write to hello@kidsconfetti.ch. We correct it within 5 working days.
I don't want to be on KidsConfetti.
No problem: remove your listing in two clicks (choose, then confirm) via the link in every email we send you, or write to hello@kidsconfetti.ch from your business address (or tell us your website). We hide your listing immediately and delete its data within 5 working days, except the name and your website address, which we keep only so that the listing is not re-created. To stop receiving requests without removing your listing, use the same link.
Do you use my texts or photos?
No, not without your consent. We write our own factual descriptions. Once you claim the listing, you can add your own texts and photos.
What do you do with my data?
We only use your public business information to present your offer to parents. No reselling, no advertising. Details in our Privacy Notice.
